Even though spring is on the horizon, the farm is still very much in “early spring mode” — which means mud, boots, and whatever weather Mother Nature decides to give us that day.

But inside the shop it’s warm, cozy, and full of flowers. Dried bouquets, lavender products, soaps, and little signs of the growing season ahead are waiting for you.

Thank you so much to everyone who applied for the farm helper position at Little Brown Farm. We were truly overwhelmed by the interest and are so grateful that so many people want to be part of what we’re building here. 🌿

Because we received such a large number of applications, we will only be reaching out to selected candidates to arrange interviews. We’ll be scheduling those interviews over the course of this week.

It means a lot to see how many people are inspired by flower farming and the work we’re doing here. Our hope is that as Little Brown Farm continues to grow, we’ll be able to create even more opportunities in the future for those who share a love for working with the land and growing flowers.

Little Brown Farm is looking for a farm helper

As our flower and lavender farm continues to grow, we are looking for someone to join us for hands-on farm work this season.

This is real farm work — working outdoors in the elements and getting your hands in the soil. Tasks may include planting, weeding, harvesting flowers and lavender, and helping with general field work around the farm.

It’s not glamorous work, but it’s meaningful work — and it’s how the flowers you see here actually begin.

We’re looking for someone who is:
• hard-working and dependable
• comfortable with physical outdoor work
• enjoys being outside and working with their hands
• able to work some weekends during the season

The position will start part-time in April and may continue through October.

Please note that reliable transportation is a must, as our farm is located in a rural area without public transportation.

Experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic and positive attitude matter most.
